A place preserving ethnic identity

🌿 Tucked away on a small hill amid a picturesque limestone valley in Hòa Bình, the Mường Cultural Space Museum is a special destination preserving the essence of Mường culture. Covering around 5 ha, the site was once home to a Mường community in ancient times and is also Vietnam's first private museum.

✨ Unlike conventional museums, the artifacts here are displayed in a rustic, approachable way amid lush natural surroundings. The entrance path is shaded by trees and brightened by colorful flowers and a characteristic waterwheel—as though inviting visitors into the traditional living spaces of the Mường people.

⛰️ Gongs, wooden statues... are thoughtfully arranged, vividly reflecting the community's life and spirit. A particular highlight is the 4 traditional stilt houses with palm-leaf roofs and bamboo frames, representing the social classes of historic Mường society. This is an unmissable stop where you can fully experience a distinctive culture that remains preserved today.
