Pà Cò is a mountainous commune in Mai Châu District (Hòa Bình), set around 1.500m above sea level and nearly 40km from central Mai Châu. Located within the Hang Kia – Pà Cò Nature Reserve, it enjoys a cool climate year-round, with summer temperatures of only around 22°C, making it ideal for a relaxing stay.

Pà Cò is home to the Mông people, who make up 99% of the population. Local life continues to preserve traditional cultural practices in their entirety: weaving, brocade embroidery, indigo dyeing, beeswax drawing, knife forging... – together creating a distinctive, living cultural landscape.
