Hải Âu Seaplane at Tuần Châu, Hạ Long

Scenic flights over Vịnh Hạ Long use the Cessna Caravan C208B-EX, manufactured in 2014 and imported directly from the US. According to the FAA – Federal Aviation Administration and ICAO – International Civil Aviation Organization, the Cessna Caravan C208B-EX is the largest single-engine aircraft and also the safest single-engine aircraft for taking off and landing on water.

To take off and land on water and operate safely at Vịnh Hạ Long, the seaplane is fitted with 2 floats beneath the aircraft. Inside, it features state-of-the-art aviation equipment, weather radar, a storm-tracking system, GPS, and more.

Each Hạ Long seaplane sightseeing flight can carry up to 12 passengers. Designed for tourism, the seaplane features comfortable seating and wide, horizontal windows, allowing passengers to take in the scenery easily throughout the flight.
