Long Tiên Pagoda, Hạ Long

Long Tiên Pagoda is located at the foot of Bài Thơ Mountain on Lê Quý Đôn Street, Bạch Đằng Ward, Hạ Long City, Quảng Ninh. Built in 1941, the pagoda is dedicated to protective deities and Trần-dynasty generals who made major contributions to building and defending the country. Today, the pagoda is a popular attraction where many visitors and Buddhists come to offer incense and worship the Buddha.

It is also a well-known pagoda built during the reign of a Nguyễn-dynasty king and inaugurated in 1941. Its main hall is dedicated solely to the Buddhas and generals who served the country during the Trần dynasty. The pagoda was intended as a place where people could pay their respects and express their gratitude, as well as practise Buddhism, seek enlightenment and work toward liberation for themselves and others.
