Tiên Sa Lake Tourist Area, Ba Vì

Tiên Sa Lake is one of the best-known tourist and resort areas in Ba Vì District, nearly 50 km from the capital, Hà Nội. Known for its picturesque mountain and lake scenery and fresh, airy atmosphere, it is an ideal destination for weekend camping and picnics. It is also a popular stop for visitors from near and far on trips to Hà Nội.

The Tiên Sa Lake tourist area lies at the foot of Tản Mountain in Tản Lĩnh Commune, Ba Vì District, Hà Nội. The site covers 150 ha at an elevation of 65 – 400 m. Forest accounts for around 120 ha, while the lake covers more than 20 ha. The entire area is surrounded by Ba Vì Mountain and lush, year-round forest. A large lake at its center creates a cool, fresh, temperate microclimate.

The vast lake has calm, clear blue water like an enormous mirror, with floating houses where visitors can admire the scenery or go fishing. The beautiful natural setting is complemented by distinctly East Asian architecture, including Uyên Ương Pavilion, Ngũ Phúc Gate, Liên Hoa Pavilion, Nhị Long Waterfall, and Thuận Thiên Bridge. The site also offers a resort, leisure, and entertainment complex, making it an appealing weekend destination.
