08:30: After breakfast at the homestay/hotel, your guide and vehicle will pick you up to begin your journey through Cúc Phương National Park

09:30: Your guide will take you to Vietnam’s only Primate Rescue Center, which currently cares for more than 150 individuals from 15 rare primate species listed in the Vietnamese and international Red Data Books. Meet Vietnamese and international volunteers and learn about their daily work.

Next, visit the Vietnam Turtle Conservation Centre. You will then explore the Cave of Prehistoric Man, also known as Đăng Đắng Cave, meaning Bat Cave in the Mường language. The cave has a wide entrance facing southwest. Located in a limestone mountain within the primeval forest of Cúc Phương National Park, it is a prehistoric habitation and burial site where traces of ancient Vietnamese people dating back 7.500 years have been discovered.

12:00: Enjoy lunch at a restaurant in the heart of the forest

14:00: Set out on a hike to explore the flora and fauna of Cúc Phương Forest. Visit the thousand-year-old Chò tree, a wonder of nature standing up to 45m tall and measuring 5m in diameter.

16:00: Return to the vehicle and head back to Hà Nội

18:30-19:00: The tour ends. See you again!
