Vị trí đẹp. Xây dựng theo kiểu nhà sàn dân tộc. Đầy đủ tiện nghi. Có hồ bơi đẹp. Quán bar và cả ca múa dân tộc hàng đêm. Đáng ở. Có xe đạp cho mượn miễn phí.

Rất thiên nhiên và thoải mái với thung lũng đồng lúa nhẹ nhàng, thôn quê nhưng rất thuận tiện đi lại.

Về phòng ở, đặt phòng với bể bơi riêng, cảnh nhìn từ hiên rất đẹp nhưng tất cả chỉ có thế. Điện thoại nội bộ hỏng. Bình nước nóng hỏng. Vòi sen lớn hỏng. Bể bơi bẩn. Gọi yêu cầu lễ tân xử lý hoặc đổi phòng thì một ngày sau mới có người đến sửa và không thể dùng phòng vệ sinh suốt từ sáng đến chiều. Không bao giờ quay lại đây nữa. Hoàn toàn thất vọng.

Mai Chau Ecolodge là điểm nghỉ dưỡng rất đẹp cho khách du lịch khi đến thăm Mai Châu. Với 1 toà nhà 2 tầng xây dựng theo kiểu nhà sàn truyền thống, phía dưới là sảnh tiếp tân, phía trên là nhà ăn pha trộn nét cổ kính của phương Tây kết hợp với ánh sáng mờ ạo tạo cảm giác gia đình đầm ấm. Phía trước sảnh là bể bơi chung khá sạch sẽ và thơ mộng. Nếu thích và thời tiết tốt thì du khách có thể hoà mình vào làn nước trong xanh để thư giãn sau một hành trình leo đèo khá mệt mỏi. Các phòng nghỉ được dàn trải theo triền đồi với các lối đi lát đá, có biển chỉ dẫn đầy đủ. Phòng có tiện nghi đầy đủ, được chăm chút từ những chi tiết nhỏ như đèn được cho vào lồng tre; vòi nước hình trống đồng… Có lẽ vì những đặc điểm này mà khách nước ngoài lưu trú khá nhiều. Khách du lịch được cư dân bản địa với trang phục truyền thống phục vụ rất tận tình (có lẽ do được training rất kỹ và đây là cách làm du lịch bền vững cần được phát huy và nhân rộng). Các món ăn ở đây rất ngon, nhẹ nhàng với hương vị đặc sắc khó thấy ở bất kỳ đâu. Chúng tôi đi vào giữa mùa thu, được hoà mình vào thiên nhiên, được gặp gỡ con người và thưởng thức những món ăn ngon của núi rừng Tây Bắc. Đó thực sự là 1 chuyến đi đầy cảm xúc.

Tôi rất thích được ngồi trên balcony của Mai Chau Ecolodge và ngắm hoàng hôn buông xuống trên cánh đồng Mai Châu. Một cảm giác bình yên và thư thái đến lạ!
