Bà Chúa Thượng Ngàn Temple, Tam Đảo

Bà Chúa Thượng Ngàn Temple lies amid the forested mountains of Tam Đảo, surrounded by white clouds throughout the year. It is both a spiritual destination and an ideal stop for visitors who wish to admire the scenery.

The temple is about 25km from the center of Vĩnh Yên City (Vĩnh Phúc). To reach Bà Chúa Thượng Ngàn Temple, you will need to walk up the steps for 30 minutes to the mountaintop.

There are around 300 steps from the main gate to the temple, which sits halfway up Thiên Thị Peak in the soaring Tam Đảo heritage complex. The route is lined with two reinforced-concrete handrails that curve alongside the winding stone steps through a straight, green bamboo forest. The cool shade makes visitors feel as though they have wandered into a fairyland.
