Hoa Lư Ancient Capital, Ninh Bình

Hoa Lư Ancient Capital is a one-of-a-kind architectural complex in Ninh Bình Province, recognized by UNESCO as one of the four core areas of the Tràng An World Heritage Site. The state has also designated it a nationally significant architectural complex and historical site that must be protected and preserved.

With more than 1000 years of history, this place has witnessed the nation's many ups and downs and preserves a wealth of historical knowledge and evidence of the country's past. Despite the passage of time, Hoa Lư still retains its historic traces, including strong citadel walls and the two temples dedicated to King Đinh Tiên Hoàng and King Lê Đại Hành, built in the style of the former Hoa Lư capital.
