Đà Lạt Palace Golf Course

Đà Lạt Palace Golf Course (Đồi Cù) is the oldest golf course in Vietnam, located in central Đà Lạt beside the romantic Hồ Xuân Hương. Built in the 1930s to a design by a French architect, it was once owned by Emperor Bảo Đại and is closely tied to the history of Đà Lạt’s development as a “little Paris.”

The course enjoys a prime location: backed by Đà Lạt University, with the City Flower Garden to the right, Đinh Tiên Hoàng Street to the left and the lake directly ahead. The name Đồi Cù is said to refer either to its undulating, sheep-back terrain or to the traditional game of “đánh cù” once played here.

The golf course stretches across green hills winding around the lake and pine forest. It is divided into three areas: Đồi Gặp Gỡ, Đồi Hẹn Ước and Đồi Ân Ái, creating a uniquely romantic setting. It was once named by the US magazine Golf among the Top 100 most beautiful golf courses in the world, making it an appealing destination not only for golfers but also for visitors who love the nature and history of Đà Lạt.
