B-52 Victory Museum, Hà Nội

Although 50 years have passed, historical evidence of the “Điện Biên Phủ in the Air" campaign is still preserved at the B-52 Victory Museum. The museum bears witness to the glorious days when earlier generations fought with great courage.

Besides its famous landmarks, northern Vietnam also draws visitors with museums rich in historical, cultural and artistic value. One of these is the B-52 Victory Museum—a unique museum unlike any other in the world and one that no visitor to Hà Nội should miss.

The B-52 Victory Museum displays weapons, military equipment and wreckage from downed B-52 aircraft, along with photographs and artefacts relating to the people and armed forces of Hà Nội during the Điện Biên Phủ in the Air campaign (1972) against the United States Air Force. Inaugurated on 22/12/1997, the museum is located at 157 Đội Cấn Street, Ba Đình District, Hà Nội.

The B-52 Victory Museum is considered one of the world's most distinctive museums, as only Vietnam has a museum dedicated entirely to displaying the victory over B-52 aircraft. Visitors are sure to be impressed by its remarkably authentic photographs and artefacts, which cannot be found anywhere else.
