Elephant Falls

Hidden away in the southern Central Highlands, Elephant Falls—also known as Liêng Rơwoa—has the grandeur of an epic born from the mountains and forests. Around 25 km southwest of Đà Lạt, the waterfall plunges from a height of 30 meters and spans roughly 15 meters, its white water resembling a vast silk ribbon unfurling through the wilderness.

At the foot of the falls, countless moss-covered boulders lie scattered about, evoking a herd of gentle elephants gathered beside the water. All around, dense old-growth forest forms a canopy of interwoven branches, creating a landscape that feels both wild and poetic. From several kilometers away, the waterfall’s roar echoes like the breath of the earth and sky, fierce and powerful. Yet as you draw closer, fine clouds of mist drift upward and catch the sunlight, breaking into countless tiny rainbows. The sight brings an unexpected sense of calm, as though you have stepped into a dream deep within the green forest.

In this quiet, untamed setting, the waterfall retains the pristine beauty bestowed upon it by nature. Both majestic and lyrical, it was recognized as a national scenic monument in 2001 and has become one of the unmissable destinations for visitors to the Lâm Đồng highlands.
