Đà Lạt Railway Station

In the heart of the city of flowers, Đà Lạt Railway Station carries the spirit of a golden age. Construction began in 1932 and was completed in 1938 during the French colonial period. The station marked the starting point of the Đà Lạt–Tháp Chàm railway, connecting the Lâm Viên Plateau with Phan Rang. The first trains quietly carried passengers and goods over the mountains and through cool green pine forests. The railway was damaged during the war in 1972, forcing Đà Lạt Railway Station to suspend operations. After liberation in 1975, the line was restored, but today the station serves tourism only, becoming a romantic stop for those drawn to the historic charm and peaceful beauty of the misty city.
