Chùa Linh Quy Pháp Ấn – A heavenly retreat in the mountains of Đà Lạt

Tucked away on the turtle-shaped Núi Linh Quy, Chùa Linh Quy Pháp Ấn is a sacred place where many Buddhists make pilgrimages and visitors come in search of tranquility. With its distinctive architecture and heavenly scenery, the temple has been voted one of the 20 most beautiful sights not to miss when visiting Đà Lạt.

Here, you can not only admire the stately architecture but also immerse yourself in lush nature, enjoy the stillness and breathe in the fresh air. The surrounding hills are covered with tea fields and coffee plantations, and if you are lucky, you may see local people harvesting their crops—a simple yet graceful scene.

The temple is located in Lộc Thành Commune, Bảo Lâm District, Lâm Đồng, about 113 km from central Đà Lạt via National Highway 20, a journey of around 2 hours. The road to the temple passes through endless green pine forests, and during the final months of the year, brilliant yellow wild sunflowers line both sides of the road, making the journey even more magical.

More than 15 years ago, Núi Linh Quy was still an untouched, peaceful area, with green tea and coffee fields stretching into the distance. A Buddhist monk happened to pass through and was so captivated by its tranquil, picturesque landscape that he decided to make it his place of spiritual practice.

He established Chùa Linh Quy Pháp Ấn, and after more than a decade of restoration, it became a magnificent scene of mountains and water, both serene and poetic. Today, the temple is a place of practice for many monks from Lâm Đồng and neighboring areas, as well as an ideal pilgrimage and sightseeing destination for visitors who love peace and nature.
