Đà Nẵng Museum of Cham Sculpture

The Đà Nẵng Museum of Cham Sculpture in Đà Nẵng houses precious heritage from the ancient Champa Kingdom and is an ideal attraction for anyone who loves culture and history. Its predecessor was Tourane Park (Italy), a site used to gather Cham artifacts, archaeological finds, and sculptures collected by the French from the late 19th century. This early collection led to construction of the Cham Museum officially beginning in 1915, and visitors started coming in 1919.

The museum covers an extensive 6673m2, with 2000m2 dedicated to displaying numerous artifacts and some of the most remarkable ancient sculptures from the former Champa Kingdom. It now offers both on-site guided tours and audio guides, making it more convenient for visitors to explore and learn.

After many rounds of restoration and development, the Cham Museum is now ranked first in Vietnam. It still retains the beauty of its original architecture. The museum also displays many artifacts, photographs, films, and rare documents about Cham culture and the once prosperous and glorious Champa Kingdom.
